Illinois Square Cut Corner

#1 Post by PedroA » Wed Mar 07, 2018 3:58 pm

Finally I restored a new Illinois. It's a nice square cut corner. I hope you like.

The watch I bought.

After service, polished the case, crystal, hands and crown.

Best regards.

Beautiful job. Lovely how it's all come together.
So much better with a decent crown and hands. The case looks great, and that dial is fabulous. One to be worn with pride I think!

WONDERFUL!

Whoever did the work, did a super job. Those are a very cool one to have in the collection
and they won't break the bank. Excellent watch...always great to see one back and running strong.

Thanks Fred. Happy with your comment.

Thanks owch. I bought the watch without crystal. It's new. Polish a crystal is complicated. You need cerium oxide.

Thanks Andy. Effectively with new hands and crown the watch is more nice.

Thanks GJH. I have made the restoration.

Best regards.
