A special Marquis

#1 Post by coronado » Tue Jan 22, 2019 1:25 pm

This sat on eBay with a very modest Buy-it-Now for several hours at least, mis-described in several ways by the seller. I took a careful look at all of the seller's photos, and decided it appeared to be one of the scarcer variations of the Marquis.

I was right.

Very pretty watch, Bryan.

Hope you give it a good home.

Am I correct that what makes this special isn't that it's two-tone, but it's the reverse of the usual two-tone?
Real men wear small watches.

Correct!

Yes, it's a very beautiful watch -- and a very scarce one in that particular two-tone configuration. (Bryan has a great eye!)

Wonder who the happy new owner is? (I noticed that the watch sold very quickly when Bryan listed it on his website.)
