Two new projects

#1 Post by PedroA » Mon Mar 12, 2018 2:35 pm

After finished the square cut corner, I have two new project.

I'm sure you have seen this in eBay. It's a Whippet.

The other one is more complicated to finished. It's a Guardian. I bought the movement without case. I look forward in some sites, included Fred's web but until now nothing. Well I'm patient. While, I will used another case.

The question. I have seen cases with a lot of scratches. It would be convenient to keep the original case or make a new nickel /gold plated?

Best regards.

Those look like 2 very fun projects!!
Only Fred would have an extra case around... this is going to be very cool to see.

Here is a Guardsman:
There are engraved and non engraved bezel options.

Ola Pedro. I had a chance to look at your blog today. Because I don't have the skills with Spanish to understand the text, I'm going to have to use the Google translator to get into the details. I was able to follow the images well enough that I can say I'm very impressed with your watchmaking abilities. The Illinois restorations you have shown here are gorgeous but the projects on your site are worth studying. I look forward to learning from you. Joel

Love projects. It's very self satisfying to take a watch from junk to treasure, nothing better.
