Here's one I just got from Mark, who I assume did the enameling (currently in cue at the watchmaker's):

And a few Illinois...

Those are all beauties! Tom, did you also enamel the center cases on the Hamiltons?(I see that the Cushion Engraved is).

Tom, I do as well! So in your opinion, when I get to restore my Elgin States 455, should I enamel the center case? I know the one that you had gotten from Bryan has enamel on the bezel only. By the way, the second Hamilton Barrel has an engraved bezel that I've never seen before on a Barrel, is that called a Ribbon bezel. It looks like the same pattern as on my 1st. generation Cushion Engraved.

I'm not sure what the pattern is called, but Hamilton had 3 for the barrel engraved models and it's pretty rare. There is a thread about the order in which they were marketed on WTF that Bryan commented on. I have an old ad that shows it.

That watch is purely delectable...stunning looking..but you might want to remove those scratches from the bezel and the dial...that will make it even more desirable.

Dude, which watch are you referring to? None of them exhibit any scratches. I think you're a troll preparing to spam the sight, based on your posts so far...

I don't think he realizes that his spam signature has been edited. I'm about ready to ban him for fun just because his posts are not relevant to anything, add nothing to discussion and are simply annoying.

BTW, I don't see the ribbon engraved Barrel. Is there a photo missing from this thread?
