Today the forum keeps forgetting who I am

#11 Post by Nookster » Wed Feb 22, 2012 9:31 pm

The settings are saved for vintagewatchforums.com and its working now. if you use google chrome or firefox it will work on both, if you use internet exp, it will only save on vintagewatchforums.com.

if you use the URL vintagehamilton.com/forum you will have to log in each time.

Sorry guys
NOT working this morning
I can log in automatically from the bookmarked URL

BUT
clicking the link on email updates will NOT allow you to log in at all, so you can not read threads that you have been notified about from the emailed URL

Use the www.vintagewatchforums.com link, if you use vintagehamilton.com it will not remember you unless you use Firefox or Google Chrome.

The forum doesn't remember me even though I've checked the box, and now I have to click the bookmark 3 or 4 times to get on. The first 2 or 3 times I get a message saying the server is busy and can't connect.

EDIT: screen shot of the message -

I've been getting the same issue for the past two days on IE.

Only half of the time the site will load properly.

I have had the same issues, I think it's the host site? I have max speed and all the bells and whistles.

Yep, I have to log again in every time I visit too. Everything else works pretty well.
