This falls in the “danced a jig” category. I have been researching watches that were made by the American Waltham Watch Co. for the E. Howard Watch Co., ca.1902-1905. The two companies discussed making a ladies’ watch for Howard but never put it into production. I had known of the existence of this prototype example for more than 20 years and was finally able to bring it into my collection. It is a size 6/0 movement (approximately 25 mm) and is top quality. As far as anyone knows, it is a unique example.
