I got this on a 32 Elgin Clubman and really want to wear it but someone lopped off an inch or more from what is now the shorter end.

It has no markings so I'm at the mercy of the forum for an ID and possibly parts. or another band. It has the familiar fold over clasp in the center>

The ends detach using a clamping system much like the braided cord bands.

Each row of the flexible part is made of pieces of folded metal.

And those are the pieces I need to extend the length. I have no idea how to search for another without a name or manufacturer. Otherwise it's just a long slog through the auctions.

Thanks, Joel

Kreisler bands of that type came on particular models of certain Elgin series of that period (Clubman, Home Run, etc.). The Kreisler name and/or logo would be on the clasp.

Could you post a picture of the watch itself?

I measured it but didn't write it down and it slipped away. I just posted the watch in theElgin forum. Joel
