Ha...Well I have that list too...Always looking for a few things which I have never actually seen.

I have that list, it's the same damn Elgin on it 10 times. I know it exists, have a blurry image of it. I have the newspaper advertisement for it, I have a dial for it.

3 years of searching and nothing more than that.

Front-line Winner...but in tough condition, compensated for by going pretty cheap. Actually, other than the dial/hands and some enamel loss in one panel the condition is quite good. Double hinged case fully intact, dust cover in place.

I recently caught a few few things I didn't know exsisted.
When you see those and you think it is not a frankin buy it or you will regret it.

I can't say that I got anything I didn't know existed - but I did also score two recently from my want-list. A '28 Breton in nice condition - except the minute hand. And a '27 Ambassador with a scarce dial...

I am pretty sure that my wife got me a nice watch for Christmas too...but have to wait...
