#1 Post by Just 1 More » Mon Jun 04, 2018 5:14 pm

Has anyone notice that eBay now will not show you a listing once it has been completed or sold the last few day I was tracking a few item too see whom was bidding I click the saved link or if I search completed or sold item it forwards me to another watch and say's that listing no longer available here something similar like what the Frack is going on

I haven't had any problems, but then I only use a desktop not a phone.

I have noticed this since yesterday and am quite peeved about it. I think eBay must have decided there was no value to them in providing access to closed auctions and instead they want to re-direct us to active auctions where we might spend our money. I think it is awful ... but who can one complain to?

I see this on my phone or my desktop computer. It is not every closed auction yet, but seems to be going that way. Past auctions can still be found via the search function of completed auctions, but only if you know key words in the title.

"The listing you’re looking for is no longer available. Check out this similar item we found for you."

This is the message you get when eBay shows you a "similar" active auction instead of the ended auction you want to revisit
LISTING is in blue and is actually a link to what you are trying to view in the first place... Just an extra step and yes I agree it is quite silly

... LISTING is in blue ...
Aha! The blue text is almost impossible to notice on my screen, but glad to see that does work to see the original listing.

Thanks for that.

Thank you! This was helpful to me. I tried to go back and find a listing that closed with no bids. I was redirected to a piece of junk. Now I see the tiny blue text. Thanks for posting this.

I had a pleasant ebay surprise. I clicked on a link to a 2015 auction in a post here today and got the complete description and all the pics. Joel

I'm now getting mixed results clicking on the "see original listing" link. Sometimes it takes me to the original listing, other times it takes me to similar items.
