HORAE - Customizable Vintage-Inspired Watches

#1 Post by Shane_ » Sun Feb 04, 2018 11:04 pm

Hi everyone on Vintage Watch Forums!

Very happy to be sharing our watch project! It has been more than 2 years of passion and persistence since we started HORAE.

HORAE - Customisable Vintage-Inspired Watches

First, choose one of the four movements (Two Hander/Complete Calendar/Chronograph/Automatic) to learn more about the watch. You may change any elements on the curated design or start with a fresh template on our configurator.

Then, select the elements that you like to create your favourite combination. Complete the look with a leather or perlon strap.

We think the watches are very affordable and is great value for their price point.

We are now LIVE in KICKSTARTER

We were personally involved in every stage from design to production, including rapid prototyping through 3D printing for iterative design, and the arduous process of sourcing the best materials and suppliers.

We have a clear vision for Horae as a trusted microbrand, but we cannot accomplish this alone. Your help and support will pave the way for us to bring our brand to fruition. Whether it is through backing our project, providing constructive criticism, following us on social media, or just simply sharing our vision.

Thank you for your attention and feedbacks!

I don't know about anyone else, but my preference would be a mechanical movement. And 38mm is a good size - not too big, not too small.

We stuck to the styling, proportions and character of vintage watches. 38mm case, box crystal, etc. These are the design-cues that we fell in love with. There is so much depth to the history and provenance of watchmaking and we want to share that in our way!

The Automatic might be the right fit for you! Only the Automatic comes with sapphire crystal too, it is very aggressively priced at ~US$250 on Kickstarter. We think that's pretty great value!
