Now I guess the next question is why do some wear a watch against the underside of the wrist? Maybe the same thought that it is easier to turn your wrist to see the time?
When I gig with my band, I always wear my watch on the underside of my wrist. I can check the time without looking like I'm counting the minutes until the next break (which I am).
Real men wear small watches.
