Sad news out of Houston.

A local clockmaker died trying to save the clocks during Hurricane Harvey.

What a very sad story... What I don't understand is the fact that everything went "missing"
Did the police not secure the place after they found him inside?
How did this secure place get looted?
So sad for the folks and the poor guy.

Yes, a lot of unanswered questions, very sad.

It seems that somebody took all of the choice valuable stuff.

Somebody had to know "clocks" and what to grab.

There certainly was a lot of looting going on here in Houston during the storm.

The personal tragedies of this storm will echo for decades.

I personally witnessed many acts of bravery and kindness, events like this bring out the absolute best in people.

Unfortunately, they can also bring out the worst in people as well.
