We all have the same disease with slightly different symptoms. Hahaha
Great find.

started to work on one of the divers today. Since the lume was already cracked I just removed it all and replace with a red\orange
nail polish. Not original color but I can at least see it!
here is the before and after - serviced, crystal buffed, new stem crown and matched with a Timex Iron Man band.

That color does make the hands pop. I like it. The count down ring makes more sense than the normal ones I see. That's a great size for a diver, if it's a mechanical movement I might be tempted.

Parts Inventory and storage has begun. So far I've made it 99% with the dials and about 25% with crown/stems.
Side by side they fit into this chest but doubt it will hold everything. The Parts Catalog was something I picked up a few ago.
I'm also working on copying it and using OCR to capture the info so I can create a relational data base for search and retrieval.
Pie in the sky would be to build a front end app as well. But, who knows when I'll get around to it.

I've now gotten 80% of all part inventoried, labeled and boxed up. The task of converting physical printed pages into logical data files has begun.
Right now I have a database of crown stems with information that ranges from 1960 - 1973. Decided to build another NOS - this one is a 1971 Electric.
The only used parts are the hands.

The inventory phase of the project has progressed well. I now have inventoried and organized about 90% of my parts on hand.

Dials, Crown\Stem, Crystals, assorted movement and case parts.
