Re: No response to Issue

A lot of forums don't allow "new" members to post photos due to spammers, as I'm sure you're aware. Interesting lugs. They almost give the appearance of wire lugs.

Thanks! I plan on wearing it for nice occasions. I figure nice dinners out, formal night on the cruise ship, family gatherings, etc.
Wear it in good health and share it and the story behind it with as many as possible! ;)

Thanks Chris.

I don't know what "browser" you use, I use "Firefox" and I don't see a "?" anywhere in the original post. :|

Re: Grandpa's watch

Welcome! It appears that you have a 1958 Seville in 10kt Gold Fill. Probably not a tremendous amount of monetary value, but I'm sure it has sentimental value. Re: Excited about this watch! (Some questions though...)

Based on the first digit of the serial number on the case back "3" and the date code on the movement "X" which both put this watch at 1943 I'd lean towards "Broadcaster" as the model with a dial variant. Depend on where you live, a clean, oil, and adjust will run you up to a couple hundred bucks fro...

Re: 1953 bulova doctors watch?

Pretty sure this is called the "Surgeon", originally came out in 1941 and continued into the early 50's.

Someones replaced the seconds hand. It should be red.

Re: Bulova repair help question?

Case and dial appear to be the "Douglas"model, from 1945/46.
