do I win the band?
You should, thanks so much!

P.S. Too funny that you were the one with the answer, Mo: I was going to email you with the question if no one here could identify it.

Anyone Recognize this Logo?

Hi Folks:

I have an NSA bracelet here with this logo on the clasp. Does anyone know the watch brand?

Thanks!

Re: Need replacement dial for Legionnaire with enamel numerals on case

I believe the crystals that you referenced for sale are actually sold by one of our members — he may pop in at some point to help clarify. It could actually be that he mislabeled a crystal, though I am not certain. Our Elgin experts may chime in eventually as well. :)

Re: Need replacement dial for Legionnaire with enamel numerals on case

I believe the only difference in the model number is that one has the bracelet, one doesn't.

Just send I.D. a reference photo of a correct dial, and they'll know what you need. :)

Interesting the catalog photo shows "AUTOMATIC" curved. Google images search shows straight and curved.

Yes, the dial had both straight and curved variations, in block letters and script — both are correct and original.

I.D. has this dye and they can do it for approximately $50, I think.

Re: Age of my Hamilton Ventura watch

I believe this Ventura is from the mid-1990s. It is the second generation after the initial early 1990s Ventura reissues. The second generation had the case back screws that yours has; the earlier first generation had a snap back.

Re: Recommendations for Hamilton Electric Servicing in/near NYC?

Yup, Tom's right, Jarett is your guy. He not only has been trained by Rene, but he also has a cache of NOS parts that will get your watch running like new.

P.S. I live in the NY area, and there is no one there that I would trust with an Electric — I send mine to Jarett.
