1930's Ingersoll Fob Watch for today. Note the cornetto I made from some old broken necklace to help protect against malocchio. :twisted:

good point Dan, I just had a return from France. The buyer inquired about what happens to the VAT and other fees. Well, the Global Shipping programs say "sorry, you don't get that back".

Although I have sold many times using the Global Shipping program, I am still reluctant to use it. Main reason is the emails that come from potential buyers who ask to work around the program. They site the taxes, duties, other such reason why the program is unfair to them. Once such recent example ...

My brother gave this to me to free up garage space. It only has 84k miles on it and overall in nice shape. Having the mechanicals checked out this week to see what is immediate and what can wait. Only thing I know that is not working is the AC. Not an issue since it will be a seasonal ride \weekends...

Yes, it could be something rather simple. I would suggest you take it back to the watchmaker.
3 weeks for my watchmaker friend would be welcomed. I once waited 14 months.
