I found this to be quite interesting and puzzling as to why one would wear a watch this way. A little searching on the net gives some indication that this method is realted to yatch racing and early motor cycle racing. Has to do with being able to see the timepiece without having to lift your sleeve...

There must have been a transaction update that did not yet complete.

I have been noticing some delay in certain instances such as login or even just rendering the home page.

perhaps some site maintenance is due.
