Re: Roamer Viscount - any information appreciated

Find someone to service it and polish the case. It can be done for as little as $65 if you find the right person (mainly hobbyists). A new crystal shouldn't be more than $25. Add a new strap and wear it proudly.

HI there !
I was wondering if your Patek Phellipe watch with Josip Marshal Tito signature is for sale?
I doubt you'll get a response. This person last posted 18 months ago.

Thanks. Interesting. The face on dad's watch is obscured by the very crazed glass, but I guess would look as good as your example if the glass was replaced (subject to availability). But then that reduces the authentic patina.
Not at all. A bad crystal should always be replaced.

Re: What you wish you knew

1937 or 1938 yellow gold filled. Black enamel dial would be the best, although the AGN is fine, too. I have to say, though, the white gold one you have on your site is very tempting.... I've got a couple for sale: ygf with enamel dial http://s513.photobucket.com/user/Vintagehamiltons/media/For%20Sa...

Re: Oval 14k hiding on eBay

I am confused. Are we not allowed to mention Ebay on this board? I thought that was the reason we all left Watch Talk Forums a decade ago. Remember over there if we even said the word Ebay then we were banned. It was ridiculous. We had to call it the swamp? I almost forgot about that. Why is retro ...

Re: Bad Experience: Adam Dubilo Adam Vintage Watches?

I know several people here on the forum have bought or sold watches with Adam. I tried to reach him last week by email, but haven't heard back... I hope he's okay. If anyone has any news, please keep us updated. Bryan, is this Adam Dubin? His last post was on 11/28 and he was active here yesterday ...

Re: I think I'm gonna have to buy this

Interesting, but a bit too gaudy for me. I should have had an Audi watch since I drove them for about 25 years. I don't know how long I'll be driving Jaguar.

So, you joined this site just to complain about a purchase experience? I've never heard the name before and I don't know you either. Sounds like you should stick to ebay where you have more protection as a buyer.

I have a Chevalier, but can't answer your question. Your barrel shaped watch is pretty cool.
