Good luck. It's hard enough to find the whole watch! :P

Re: Help me identify this...

It's likely some retailer's store brand with a generic movement inside. Looks to be from the 80s. That's all I can offer.

Re: Post Your Mystery Hamiltons Here.

Thank you for your response. It does not appear to have lost a lug so it must be a special case. It was a prize for finishing first in a women's trapshooting tournament in 1927 (It's engraved). I researched the Tonneau models for 1927. I found the dial, know that it is not engraved but I am not sur...

Re: Post Your Mystery Hamiltons Here.

Newbie here! I have an antique Hamilton watch (working!) that belonged to my grandmother. It is engraved on the back with the date of 1927. It is very small - about 1 1/4" and may be a lapel watch as it only has one lug. Below are the details of what I found inside and out: Inside: 2238695 987 17 j...

Marks got one but with the butler dial. I was looking for the black dial.
Could always refinish the dial to black. Otherwise, you may have to wait a while for one to appear on ebay since they're so scarce.

Re: Looking for a Dunkirk

SeanO from the land of Oz has one, but I don't know if he's willing to part with it and he hasn't been posting very much the last few years.

Speaking of not posting much anymore, does anyone know anything about Norm?

Re: Need help to positively identify and value watch

I believe it's the Autodate Escort and the ebay prices I've seen range from $43-$258 with the average being $125 in good working order and cosmetic condition. As is, there may be more value in the bracelet because someone may need it for their watch that may not have one. We have some members here w...

Chronograph service?

Can anyone recommend someone who services vintage chronographs? My 1968 Chronograph B runs great, but the chrono pushers are no longer functioning to start/stop and flyback the center second hand.

Looks like a fashion statement.
That's what has me the most confused, LOL.
Therefore, it is a bracelet!
