Re: Thought this would be fun.

I had a Sheldon early on, but sold it to fund another purchase. Not worth a lot, but hardly ever seen.

Re: Genral pattons possible watch

I can't really help other than to say the box doesn't go with the watch, which is a Titus. Don't know anything about the brand, except that chronographs are valued, especially with an 18K case. Without any provenance that it came from Patton, there would be no additional value.

Re: WRUW 5-13-18 thru 5-19-18

After some of Dan's TLC, I wore my Aquadate Sunday. Prices have gone crazy for these on ebay over the last few years. I paid $99 for this 10-12 years ago and they are selling upwards of $700 consistently.

Thanks Tom! It definitely looks very similar to the Milton :)
It's definitely the Milton model. The dial may have been custom refinished in black. I've done that before.

Re: Post Your Mystery Hamiltons Here.

I have yet another mystery here...This one is engraved with a 1960 date, but I can't find this one on the catalogs around that time period. Has anyone ever seen this model? Thanks so much!! :) This model should be in the catalogs, except the someone had a hole cut in the dial to expose the movement...

Late 60s Clapton watch

Was watching a documentary about Eric Clapton and spotted this watch he was wearing in the late 60s. My first thought was Universal-Geneve Tri Compax. A bit of Google and it was confirmed. Pretty cool. The pic from Hodinkee was in the documentary and I got another screen cap a bit later. https://www...
