Re: 1940s Omega Chronometre

As a matter of interest, do you think another watchmaker would be able to tell if the movement had recently been changed?

Re: 1940s Omega Chronometre

Okay - thanks very much for your comments - I suppose I will leave it there, although it does seem strange to me that he didn't mention that this was not actually a chronometer movement.

I really appreciate your help with this.

Best wishes,

Re: 1940s Omega Chronometre

Thanks very much - I did as you suggested.

Many thanks - I appreciate you sharing your expertise with laymen such as me.

Regards,

I knw nothing about watches, but am liquidating my parents' estate and this is one of a few watches that turned up in a desk drawer. Is this a good watch? Collecta...

Can anyone please help in identifying this old TUDOR? watch

Dear Forum members, Can anyone kindly help in identifying this watch which I picked up at a garage sale. It's a ladies watch in a 9ct gold case with two hinges and is running well. The case measures about 1" across. It seems to me to be of a style that dates perhaps to the 1920s. The two-tone green ...
