Matt at thewatchtech.com has been doing Pierce's for me for years. If you ask him nicely he might do yours. He just did this early fixed lug chronograph for me. The watch has a pretty interesting Rose Bowl inscription on the back and I'm hoping to return it to the original owners family. It's worth getting redone I think. I'll give International dial a try.

Yours has a Valjoux 22 movement. It's only the second Lewis & Son I've seen. From what I found a few years back they had a shop in NYC and did limited custom work. Does yours have the VXZ Swiss code on the balance cock? Yours probably does say Lewis & Son on the bridge especially if it's hand inscri...

Dive watch

I just picked up this Elgin diver style watch and was wondering if anyone might have an idea how old it is. It has a AS1674 automatic 17 jewel movement inside marked 921 on the rotor. Sort of an interesting offset rotor design. The watch is well worn but I haven't been able to find any other example...
