Re: Identification Help

Eli, They look so much alike, not sure why they have different names, unless it has to do with the movement jewel count.
Bulova was a bit OCD in there naming convention.

Re: Spaceview Date

Nice watch! I've always liked the Spaceviews.
I do think the date year number has been worm down. It's definitely a 60's though.
Just as an fyi, I did find this chart on how to determine legit Spaceview case styles as opposed to Accutron cases:

Re: Gruen in the Movies - What model is this? 1949

Could be a cal 420 or 421; or possibly a 460 or 470 autowind.
Difficult to determine which model based on the lack of case detail in your capture pic.

Re: Gruen Watch Information

Awesome watch DJD1!
Your watch model is highly sought after by collectors.
Just want to add that if you intend to wear it often,
it should be serviced so as not to wear down internal parts. Replacement parts can be difficult to come by.
Thanks for sharing your watch with us.

Joel,
Thanks for the additional info & congrats for snagging your like model!
Funny thing is I did acquire my dating info from the NAWCC look-up but I didn't check the Gray book page.
Great info you have provided!
