Hello, I need a crown wheel for a Longines 19.75N. Doesn't have to be NOS but must be undamaged, obviously.

Re: New standard for eBay shipping?

Haha well this was funny and quite clever package. Improvised but still did the job.

Someone once sent me some paper posters in a plastic PVC plumbing pipe which was cut to dimensions. Oh, I also received a watch from someone (national) in a medicine box.

Re: Interesting Ebay Find

Now this is freaking awesome! I Like the fact that they made a strap and buckle for it as well. Talk about promoting your business!

Re: Post Your Mystery Hamiltons Here.

Could someone shed some light on the movement and perhaps case material of this ? Could it be solid gold or is it just rolled gold or something like that ? The crown is marked by the way. https://olxro-ring04.akamaized.net/images_mercadorro/172467031_3_1000x700_hamilton-genuie-colfskin-amanet-cranga...

Re: Magnetized antimagnetic watch dilemma

I had an antimagnetic watch that I thought was magnetized as it had the specific signs. In reality there were problems with the hairspring. It was warped or something like that so you might want to take that into account.

Use a loupe and check the hairspring to see whether it's OK.

Re: Regretting a sale.

Had a few that made me feel a bit sad but fortunately it didn't last long.

Surprisingly some watches that I've felt sad for letting go were not rare or expensive but rather the likes of diver Citizens for example.
