Re: WRUW 12/17 through 12/23/2017?

Today’s rotation brings a seldom seen TV case, early 1970’s Omega Seamaster with original blue slate textured dial. All original except today it’s wearing a matching custom minimal stitch strap.

Best to all for a very healthy and happy holiday!

Re: FRANCK MULLER ID help?

With all due respect, while this watch isn't as bad of a fake as the Rolex you posted, it is still a poor fake. Sorry

Re: Is Discussing Fakes Condoning It?

Did you watch the Defiant ones one HBO, it's gets into how the whole music industry was wiped out because of the internet and Napster. Nookster, must be another HBO series ...

Re: Timegrapher app

Like Stryfox, I use a timegrapher on my workbench but have always wanted to try an app. Diveboy, your using the app in the field for a pre-buy IMHO is brilliant! I do have a question. In the screenshots of both apps, I'm seeing the measurements for bph and beat error, but I don't see the reading for...

Re: Small Rose Designation on Tudors

I could be mistaken but I believe the difference is not in the size of the Rose but between the early Tudor Rose & Shield emblem and just the later Rose emblem without the shield. When "The Tudor" brand was transferred back to Hans Wilsdorf in 1936, the Tudor Dynasty Rose within a shield was inscrib...

Re: Spider Dial - effect on price

The saying goes, " beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and the same goes for collectors. IME, the Rolex " spider" dial which actually was from a finish flaw ( lacquer cracking) isn't a universally coveted aspect for Rolex collectors. For those that do hunt & collect these flawed dials, a premium p...

Re: Opinions on Steinhart ocean blue?

WOW, that's so interesting. You know, if a buyer of this model wanted, he/she could have a very good position with Steinhart for getting a discount on the purchase price. There could be a substantiated false advertising claim. After all, Steinhart's website advertises and displays a watch containing...
