Re: NAWCC National in York

While attending a regional meet doesn't make me an expert on the national meet, I was surprised that sellers there were generally NOT using PayPal. I found only one seller using PayPal and other forms of payment (e.g. Square that accepts credit cards). Very odd.

Re: 1926 ladies Gruen

Thanks both. The eBay bracelet is gone already! Put a WGF filagree on it, looks great! Could use couple sets of clasps for a couple 12 mm fixed lug Hamiltons of my wife's now.

I was on gruenwristwatches site thats where I got the approximate 1926 date.

Re: 1926 ladies Gruen

Thanks for sharing Barney! Not sure why the movement picture didn't show up for you; I had posted all 3 at the same time. Just put a beautiful period expansion bracelet on it and one on an Elgin for my wife. I have 2 ladies Hamilton where the fixed lugs are wider so need to find a couple more or mak...

1926 ladies Gruen

Would anyone happen to have a catalog or advertisement clip of this ladies Gruen they would share with me? From the movement serial number, grade and style number it appears to be around 1926. This is another of the timepieces I picked up last week at a local live auction. BTW, if someone has a bett...

Chronograph ID

Yet another discovery in the pile of watches from my friend. Not sure that this is anything special. The only markings I can see on the movement are 17 jewels, swiss made and what appears to be 170 under the regulator. Inside back of case has no markings and there is simply the number on the back of...

Waltham Chronometer

I'm not sure what I have here. Haven't been able to find out if there was any particular function for this chronometer. Seems to have been owned by a serviceman and the address on the label appears to have been his retirement home.

Any thoughts?
