I am going and will have a table with wristwatches for sale, plus maybe a bunch of pocket watch movements from scrapped cases. Be sure to stop by and say hello.
I most certainly will stop by and say hello Bryan. Maybe even a deal or two to be had!

Re: 2018 NAWCC PacNorthwest Regional

Thanks Gary. So as I understand, I can enroll in membership and register for the event there on the Thursday? Does the organizing team prefer preregistration?

2018 NAWCC PacNorthwest Regional

Anybody from these forums attending the meet in May in Tacoma, WA? Not a member of the “mothership” or chapter but want to attend this year. Anyone point me in the right direction to register/join? Perhaps a PM from someone organizing?

Re: Late April Fools

Can I brag that I've cut my lawn 3 times so far this spring and the daffodils are almost spent, the rhodos are starting to bloom and one of my azaleas is in full bloom or should I just say yikes? Oh, and should I mention I was skiing on Saturday and actually thought about a round of golf all in the ...

Re: Hamilton Boxes

I've seen the '38 catalog pages that show the long Ivory boxes, but not the short ones. My Watson fits this one perfect, hoping it would be correct. Anyone know otherwise? A couple to distinguishing features between the years - the box shape and whether the Hamilton crest appears printed on the ins...

Re: Incoming E-12

Thank you all for the great responses. Online dbases suggest my movement dates to 1930. Regardless, I like Bettie's suggestion of seeking out an original replacement (hint if someone has one, please PM) and if I dont find one I will have ID refinish this one again with the Butler centre as that is a...

....that's sure looks like yellow. I'll need to put it beside a true YGF to compare.

Re: Incoming E-12

Thanks! Found the catalog pages Mr. Toad and Magpie posted in another Elgin thread. Green GF no less, I need to look closer as it sure looks gold! This re-dial does not have a butler finish panel as the 665 is described in the catalog so I'd suggest its as Bryan describes as the 1638/1635 (or are th...

Incoming E-12

I'm having some difficulty understanding what I have here. I have a matching case (bezel, middle, back) an appropriate movement but all of the E-12s I have found have enamel on their bezels. There is no sign of remnents on this bezel and it there's no sign that the enamel and recess has been buffed ...

Great info everyone. How could I forget about the other models with wondering seconds! I might need to move into another niche in my collecting.
