Forgot also to ask - does anyone have the sizing for a Townsman replacement crystal?

Illinois Guardsman

My collection of Illinois seems to be growing, thanks to Fred! :o :D I am interested if anyone has information on the unique rotor subsidiary seconds on this watch. Fred has a bit of information in his book but I am interested in some more historical information if it exists - perhaps a patent? uniq...

Re: ID 1930 Ladies Gruen

Thank you all! I truly love this forum and collective knowledge. Yes, would love to attend the chapter this May. I will check the web for details and see what it takes to join.

My wife is stoked we have more info on her watch and the interesting info on the shared movement.

ID 1930 Ladies Gruen

Hi all

Any chance someone might help ID this 1930 ladies? Mikes website confirms the Wadsworth case along with the style number and movement caliber to 1930 but I'd benefit from a catalog pic and/or a model name. Thanks in advance.

Re: Elgin model ID

Thanks all. My memory is lapsing. I remember your forum posting Adam and your listing. I passed on it at the time so when I saw one come up again I bid on it. I got to check the numbers but I'm pretty sure it's not the same one. :o I also need to go through postings more thoroughly. Thanks for findi...

Re: Elgin model ID

Thanks. I had originally dismissed that model when looking through the catalog pages under the Elgin forum because of the movement is different and the the catalog didn't mention the model being 2-tone. However zooming into the catalog pic I can see the engraving. Seems you might be right.

Elgin model ID

Haven't been able to locate any ads or catalog excerpts for this watch and wondering if someone might help ID it. The 10/0 - 7 jewel movement dates it to 1929. Two-tone 14k gold fill Wadsworth case.
