Going with the 1959 Bulova Sea King. Large for the day at 35mm. Very thin as well.

Re: 14K Solid Gold Waltham 6/0, Need Advice

Beautiful watch. I don't know much about Waltham watches, but are you sure the dial isn't original? I think it looks great as is. Just my opinion.

Nice watches as usual Magpie and Mrtoad. Today is the maiden voyage for my Wyler 25 Jewel Stainless Steel Automatic. Needed a crown and a crystal polish. Unusual dauphine second hand. I really like the look of the all gold color movement, so I had to include a pic. https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/...

Re: Help With Identification

It’s a modern quartz reissued version of the 1930s Wilshire. I’ve had one before. Very good quality. It’s 18K Gold electroplated I believe. It says on the case near the lugs. I think these were from the 90s or later, but I’m guessing.

Re: Seiko 5 CAL7009A FAKE?

Looks 100% fake to me. Looks cheaply made and the vintage Seiko watches I have from the 60s and 70s are all high quality.
Curious, is this from the seller on eBay from India who has tons of “vintage” watches?

Re: Hamilton Cascade - and a possible reason why it was renamed "Sea Cliff"

Very interesting. Good detective work. I know if you look through the 1970s Catalog, there are a couple models that were renamed sometimes several times if I remember correctly.
