A new acquisition, a WARD "canteen" watch, never saw one of these, any comments appreciated. With no little chain on the crown cap it amazes me the cap never got lost. According to the Pocket Watch database (https://pocketwatchdatabase.com/search/ ... n/25563472), you have an Elgin Grade 430 Model 1 watch. This information may be useful in the event spare parts are needed.

I have my great grandfather's 10 size Hamilton pocket watch from the 1940s and would love to have the movement put into a wristwatch case. It's nothing fancy, and has just been sitting in a display case ever since my grandma gave it to me decades ago. It deserves to be used, but I have no idea wher...
