Re: Help Identify Hamilton Watch

Hi and welcome. I suspect this is a ladies' model (from 1993 due to the 93 prefix of the serial no. ??). Both factors may explain why there's not yet been a response to your querty. - Not much known about 80s and 90s Hamiltons for either gender (other than what's at the ID pages in this forum) - The...

Great looking Ball Engineer watch, Stales
Thanks! Just wish my pic did justice to the blued steel hands.

Mutual admiration for your Odyssee/bracelet combo. I think a Gen I or II Odyssee is a must have for any Hamilton collector.

Re: WRUW 6/10/18 thru 6/16/2018

Caving in to peer group pressure today; trying to avoid a monstrosity but sticking to modern.... As it's my 33 year wedding anniversary today something special was appropriate so I opted for the utterly beautiful but poorly named Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster ( I mean, who comes up with this...

Thanks for washing away the horror of Stales's modern monstrosity with a classic.
lol. As I said, I wear it 90% of the time - now you know why I rarely post in this thread.

Re: WRUW 6/10/18 thru 6/16/2018

Sorry to disappoint but this is my go to watch for 90% of the time. Garmin 235. Step counter, heart rate monitor, built in GPS, doubles as a cycle computer and tells me what my phone is trying to tell me (25 notifications....). Waterproof, shockproof and dustproof. It can't take photos or play music...

What's in the box?

This caught my eye in an ebay auction for a Hamilton Awards watch for a Chase Manhattan employee (item #142805113108). Seller states it is, "a small yellow not gold lapel pin". Not seen this before so presumably it is a Chase (or church) thing - or has anyone seen something like this with an Awards ...

Re: Soviet Incoming!

Words that would have promoted fear in the 50s to 80s but, for me at least, not so today. Soon after I got serious about collecting watches in 2009 I learned of Soviet era, Russian manufactured watches. Per the Soviet stereotype, the watches had a reputation for solid build quality, practical compl...
