1918 US Army Issued Elgin Black Star Dial Trench Watch. This one still has the original factory black oxidized finish, original factory crown, original factory glass crystal. Quite hard to come by with the black finish still intact! https://scontent.fhou1-2.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/24955398_173564152...

A very RARE snowstorm "wrist shot" of a WWI Waltham Trench Watch in Houston Texas this morning!

We got just shy of three inches of snow last night.

LOL ! ! ! !

The Blue Lagoon gives you this mineral rich silica mud that is very good for your skin.

You put it on they wait about 10 - 15 minutes for it to dry then simply wash it off in the Lagoon while wading around (towards the Lagoon Bar).

The RED XII Saga Continues..........in ICELAND!

Hey guys! Last week my wife and I visited Iceland and one of the BIG things I was looking forward to when visiting Reykjavik was our time at the JS Watch Company. The JS Watch Company is probably the smallest mechanical watch manufacturer in the world! I bought myself a birthday present a couple of ...

Anybody know what this is? Patriotic Wristlet?

Anybody have a clue as to what this is? It LOOKS like a WWI trench watch crystal guard of sorts, but it looks like it would not protect the crystal very well. I might have seen something like this is an issue of the "Jeweler's Circular" from the WWI era many years ago, circa 1917. Perhaps it is mayb...

Re: Clockmaker Died Trying to Save Clocks During Hurricane Harvey

Yes, a lot of unanswered questions, very sad. It seems that somebody took all of the choice valuable stuff. Somebody had to know "clocks" and what to grab. There certainly was a lot of looting going on here in Houston during the storm. The personal tragedies of this storm will echo for decades. I pe...
