Cases made by Elgin

theres this rumor that Elgin never made any cases, like a lot of rumors about Elgin, just haven't been researched by people that care enough. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/IQYAAOSw3wVace6a/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/RaMAAOSwUg9ace6j/s-l1600.jpg Elgin made a limited run of grade 59 7...

Re: Ladies Elgin 50's early 60's

Elgin Sea Maid, sold for $69.50 and was considered a nurse's watch. circa 1963

pry it, put some safety glasses on and use a razor blade to get in the seam and pry it open, you might have to take it slow and work around the edge of the case back little by little to get it moved.

I'm wondering if they got wind of Elgin's that early ? I don't think they did due to the reaction in 1952 but its possible they worked out elgin may have been working on a battery that early.

Yes, you can run but you can't hide from Elgin, guess we cou...

Re: Say it aint so!

I would love to see a 1939 foreign made case and dial for Elgin.

Can you please post images of the cases and dials in question?

Thanks.
