Re: don't get the rolex, and omega thing.

I have to admit that modern watches have been draining my budget lately. I am happy to go back and forth between vintage and modern on a daily basis. I also have to admit that the BLNR takes up a disproportionate amount of my wrist time. It’s a brilliant watch.

Re: My wife's collection.

Salleh, good to hear from you again. My wife has graduated from these tiny cocktail watches to raiding my vintage men's collection, to raiding my modern watch collection and is now shopping and buying her own watches.

Most of her cocktail watches have not been worn in years.

Reason for asking is that I spotted a 61008-4 here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/183559445961 and noted that this model is not in the current photo catalogue I will grab an...

Hi, could anyone please help me identify the name/year and other information about this 14k white gold & diamond men’s watch? Thanks so much!
This is an aftermarket case and dial. The movement is likely the only genuine Hamilton part.

Re: Post Your Mystery Hamiltons Here.

I have my grandfather’s Hamilton Watch that was given to him in 1965 for 30 years of service to Standard Oil of Bew Jersey (Esso). I understand from this forum that the Masterpiece designation denotes it was an Award or Presentation watch, which makes sense because that is the engraving. I believe ...

Re: Hamilton TM-2601

I leave a lot of leeway for models cataloged in 1968-70. That seems to have been a tumultuous and disorganized period at Hamilton. It's pretty easy to believe that they made a white gold version of this model but only listed it as yellow gold in the catalog.
