Re: October Arrivals... >>> What's New?

As mentioned above, my recently acquired Navy Pioneer LE is in Australia and I'm in Canada. I've been suffering from separation anxiety and could not resist acquiring its sibling, the Navy Pioneer Automatic H77715553. There's a choice of sweep or sub seconds so just to mix it up I went for the swee...

Re: Images Missing in Library

I did page 20 of the photo thread today. I think there’s only one image left to recapture but it’s one of Roger’s. Hi Dave - Looks like the " Vancott (????) 14k yellow gold, Grade 748 " entry. I have this on another machine; will send to you. Thanks. I was going to PM you about it later. I've been ...

Re: What watch do I have here?

It will not be in the Hamilton catalogs. The case is not a factory Hamilton case.

Re: Looking for help identifying a watch

There is a similar example in all stainless with the number 63009-3. As far as we can tell, these are simply called Pan Europ.

Re: Looking for help identifying a watch

We have found many similar models but I don't think they appear in the regular catalogs. We have a few images from what may be European catalogs. Does the case back have any numbers similar to the format in this catalog image? Also, what is the case material? http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa288...

I have severed my photo bucket account thanks to their dumbass business model. I have photos of most of my watches on my blog or instragram account.
I have been updating the photo threads from your blog as I find the broken links. I certainly appreciate access to your photos. Thank you. 8-)

Re: Hamilton 61008-4 brown dial with some oddities

Great research. I put it in the photo threads with the M-color classics because they do specify a tan dial as one of the models. In a way, I can almost understand the irregularities on this watch. Hamilton was struggling to find it's way within it's new corporate empire. I have to imagine that all t...

Re: Winfield Photo

I've seen the Staunton with a number each of textured and smooth dials but I can't figure out which is factory. Did a dial refinisher sand off the texture because they couldn't reproduce it or did they add the texture to embellish the dial? I'm looking forward to the day when somebody posts a genui...
