Re: New arrival - couldn't help it

The more I see your example on a bracelet, I'm convinced that the new Intramatic 68 belongs on a bracelet. I might have to dig something up for mine.

Re: New arrival - couldn't help it

Nice choice, Tom. I also have one of the new models. It wears very large especially compared to the small vintage models we generally wear. I think they did a pretty good job upsizing it while keeping the proportion and overall aesthetic of the original. I also think Hamilton is getting a bad rap ov...

Picked up a couple new models.

I've been admiring these ones for years as they were regularly posted here. They are now in my collection and I am super stoked at their arrival. https://i.imgur.com/g7rqDvE.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/P8tFBUy.png?1 https://i.imgur.com/CqjNG6m.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/6zda44X.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.co...

If you look up the case number on the reference page, you will see the photo that we collected for this model. I suspect that it has it's original hands but there is no telling what the factory might have changed during the production run. http://www.vintagewatchforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=4186&...

Re: 1962 Whitford for Photo Library

Thanks Dan,

I'm slowly catching up with new additions and photobucket fiasco replacements in the photo threads. It looks like I'm only a month behind now but I'll catch up in time.

Congratulations on retirement!
That’s awesome. Looks like some awesome Hamiltons are going to find some good homes.
Best of luck!
Some not so lucky ones will find themselves in my collection. :D

Re: 80s Diver Prototype?

I suspect that this might be Hamilton's attempt to build a version of Lindbergh's Angle Hour Avigation watch. The window in the bezel could be used for GMT with a count for minutes before or after the hour read from the inner counter. The numbers around the actual bezel are used to help accurately c...

Re: 926075 LIC. ATO (Leon Hatot)

Nice! Maybe it's time to set-up a dedicated (sticky?) thread to the various Hamilton ELECTRONIC (not Electric) watches on the Hamilton Forum? I don't think anyone really knows a LOT about them, and since only a few people likely actively collect them, perhaps now is the time to begin to bring all o...
