This is an aftermarket case and dial. The movement is likely the only genuine Hamilton part.

I have my grandfather’s Hamilton Watch that was given to him in 1965 for 30 years of service to Standard Oil of Bew Jersey (Esso). I understand from this forum that the Masterpiece designation denotes it was an Award or Presentation watch, which makes sense because that is the engraving. I believe ...

I leave a lot of leeway for models cataloged in 1968-70. That seems to have been a tumultuous and disorganized period at Hamilton. It's pretty easy to believe that they made a white gold version of this model but only listed it as yellow gold in the catalog.

I think that is a Rondeau. It can be found in the 1934 catalog, maybe other years as well.

I suspect that the lugs are so narrow because it originally had a bracelet that slipped over the lugs, like the A-477.
