Re: Hamilton Dial Info

The one on the right is a Morley, I believe. The one on the left is a Mason, again that's a guess.

Anyone have a Chronograph A they're willing to part with?

I have someone looking for a Chronograph A and told them I'd ask around... anyone have one they're willing to part with?

Here's the image from the photo library

Re: Langford that just sold on eBay

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Nice Langford case but the rest was not correct, including the 980 movement.

Re: April Arrivals... What's New?

Here's a new addition to the photo library... a 1962 M79-2 with it's original bracelet and original box. I've seen red boxes before but never with a watch. My new hypothesis is red boxes were for the M-series watches. https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-752rshEmrTU/WtJq0plCHsI/AAAAAAAATds/Xx0uNV3uRQwUW1B5XNo...

Go for it Dave.

I had to update my blog to get rid of photo bucket links too. What a pain! But my blog has 650+ models on there so if you need a photo feel free to link to it.

Re: System of the Hamilton Dash models (4 or 5 digits plus dash)

That's a great list and makes a lot of sense.

I had noticed the same thing on the 800-series models but didn't make the connection between the 63 and 64 and the 689 and 694 movements.

Very helpful though. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Some nice Hamiltons on eBay lately

The Sherwood dials are so fragile too that one in great shape should really demand a premium. You see more K-475's than you do Sherwoods... not that you can draw inferences on values.

I love that automatic version... let me know if you want it overhauled and on the blog!

Re: Unknown Hamilton

Interesting... looks like the dial is refinished (and not that well). Maybe it was a Tiffany and maybe not. It does make you wonder how the watches came about though.

Re: Some nice Hamiltons on eBay lately

I happened to get this Sherwood T in February. I had to dig deep to get it but I've never seen another for sale. Came with it's original box too. Anyone want to venture a guess on what it's value would be? It's hard to say when there aren't a lot of comps. https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nMoI_LuJMKE/WpIh...

Awesome research Bryan. I wonder when the Sentinel officially became the Secometer?
