Re: Post Your Mystery Hamiltons Here.

As a project watch... $75-$100 probably. All fixed up $250 give or take. The bracelet isn't original and isn't anything special. A nice strap would be a big improvement.

Re: WRUW 12/10 through 12/16/17

I'm sporting this new addition to the fleet - 1959 T-402 with Budweiser logo. The seller's description was: HAMILTON BUDWEISER BEER WATCH 10K ROLLED GOLD QUARTZ MOVEMENT SWISS MADE VERY RARE WATCH NEVER OPENED NOT WORKING The only accurate part of the description was the first four and the last two ...

1962 Whitford for Photo Library

Here's a nice example of the white Whitford for the photo library. From an interesting trivia standpoint, it was replaced in 1963 by the Whitford B, presumably because the lugs are a bit delicate. The Whitford B has more traditional-looking lugs. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VTOFDS3z_Xo/WiwiJa5mDEI/AA...

eBay link doesn’t work. I’m no expert but that watch looks fake enough that even I could spot it.

Re: WRUW 12/3/17 Thru 12/9/2017

Little Catching Up! :) Yesterday, I had on the 62' Accumatic A-400, back from a cleaning from Dan with an aftermarket Kreisler bracelet with the leather inserts. I love the way the ends of the bracelet meld with the lugs on the watch! That's an awesome pairing Pat... and the photo is excellent too!

Re: Identify year and material

Day and Dates show up in the 1970s. This could be a European model. You can open the case and look at the movement. If there is no import code (HYL) on the balance cock then it's not a US model. The case material is typically stamped in tiny letters on the case between the lugs. You would need to re...

Re: Dear EBay Sellers:

I'm not 100% sure of Ebay rules on making offers to "buy it now" as long as it goes thru Ebay, it's all fair game, no? If I see a rare one, I will make an offer and convert to buy it now, everyone does it. I don’t think it breaks any rules to ask for a buy it now price and it could also result in s...

Re: Dear EBay Sellers:

It's just so fun to wake up, get on your computer, see something you could not find attending any NAWCC show or searching every pawn shop or jewelry shop in America! I am not one to help educate sellers (will help friends), if they post it with no name associated, or how rare it is, I just let it g...
