For Monday my work in progress.... ;) The 56' Transcontinental A. I have parts of the bracelet I want to extend to fit my larger wrists. Also, I have a spare dial and will be getting it refinished to clean this up. Some of these are a little tougher to rebuild than others. :) There are a few around ...

The dial is a keeper! ;) The case is NOS I bought it on eBay and transferred the movement. Jim is not sharing who Hamilton subcontracted with for the original b...

Grumpy, nice watch!
For me this week we are staying with the 70's, wearing the 73' Day N Date 5007 825003-3, with the original issue Kevin Drema bracelet!
A dial that is way out there!
George Jetson may have liked this one?

74' Electronic Skipjack. I always thought this should have a metal bracelet and this Bear coarsely brushed finished band came along. The brushing and stainless hue match perfectly, it should have been issued on the watch :) The Skipjack Electronic Diver is one of the Hamilton "Edsel's!" I like it, d...

Re: Timex bands -
Looks like the ultimate win! The little I know about watches. Finding the watch is only part of the hunt, finding and rebuilding the bracelet is a whole nother can of worms! "Learning today that the word NOTHER is referred to in Merriam-Webster as a nonstandard spelling!" :o To much sun at the beach...

Re: Some nice Hamiltons on eBay lately
I happened to get this Sherwood T in February. I had to dig deep to get it but I've never seen another for sale. Came with it's original box too. Anyone want to venture a guess on what it's value would be? It's hard to say when there aren't a lot of comps. https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-nMoI_LuJMKE/WpI...
