Re: WRUW 8-13 thru 8-19 2017

For Thursday, the 73' Day N' Date 5007 825003-3 with the original Kevin Drema bracelet

Still needs to be cleaned up. Different look with the 3D dial.

This would be new for the bracelet library.

Re: August 2017 Incoming

Susan, nice stuff.

For me I assembled this and am wearing it today. It can be new to the bracelet section and may replace the missing photo in the library.

Re: WRUW 8-6 thru 8-19-17

I had to change tonight this came back from the Watchmaker in the mail! :) This is another example, I had the watch and was able to secure the new dial, the bracelet is an aftermarket Kreisler. Thanks to Wayne for the Glass Crystal! 59' Thin-o-matic T-401 The engraving is just cream on the top! Give...

Re: WRUW 8-6 thru 8-19-17

Lots of nice Watches! Grumpy the Dunbar is way cool! For me today the 59" Thin-o-Matic T-501 with the NOS Flex-Let bracelet. The dial really jumps! It is funny how these go together; Jim buys the bracelets and waits for the watches. In this case, I purchased a NOS dial and waited for the watch and J...

Re: Engravings...

Those are great! I'm always drawn to a watch with an engraved back...

So many from the heart...

And the final one a true GEM, Dr. John Van Horn's Polaris service award watch, I'm not sure how I became the caretaker?

Re: WRUW 7-31 thru 8-5

For Friday a new bracelet on the 75' Auto Date Hawk 827 movement . The bracelet showed on eBay with the logo on the back and everything. (I had a worn example of this on the watch when I purchased it 3 years ago.) I was not going to pay a lot for it and got it for $31. It appeared dirty, it had just...

Re: Hamilton Seckron Restoration 980A Gone Wrong

To your point Dan, I recently sent a Sea Date (1974 801 movement) to them to have it cleaned. They did what they could, the day and date were loose and would wobble (they did send it back and did not address the issue, it was the way I sent it to them.) I had a slave movement here, sent it back out ...
