Re: WRUW 6.17 through 6/23/18?

For Friday a new addition for me!

1965 Hamilton Dateline T-480 with the original issue Champion bracelet. It is more brilliant and gold in person!

It had a four year production run, you don't see them around!

Re: WRUW 6.17 through 6/23/18?

Todd, I'm a fan of the Hawk! :) For Wednesday I have on the 54' K-502, made for only one year. I actually have more than one. The other one has the Kreisler bracelet and an additional one I have given to my nephew, who loves watches. This one I pulled apart and cleaned up the case, pressed in a new ...

Re: Automatic K-504 with an early Case Number

Interesting topic!

I can confirm my 504's have the same 5 digits.

Additionally, my 502's have a similar pattern. Both cases say "0966" which matches the first four numbers in the catalog.

They also are lacking in a manufacturer mark or identity.

Re: WRUW 6/10/18 thru 6/16/2018

For Friday the 1954 K-350 with an aftermarket Gemex bracelet.

The very fresh Gemex bracelet was $8 EIGHT DOLLARS BIN on eBay the other morning. Now you can't do better than that now can you! :)

Re: WRUW 6/10/18 thru 6/16/2018

Nice Watches... Especially the Garmin! :D This 56' Transcontinental A (I'm wearing today) with the NOS Kreisler bracelet, has been a work in progress. I have, with the support of Jim combined two of the NOS Kreisler bracelets to get this to fit my wrist (6 3/8"). The bracelet is set up now as a "lon...

Re: WRUW 6/10/18 thru 6/16/2018

GreenBayStamps: Nice to see a close up of the "Sputnik" bracelet. Magpie: That is one funky Hamilton! Thank you! I had few regular Kreisler bracelets for this watch, none “long” 6 1/4”. Jim got me going the right way with pulling them apart and re-riveting sections in! I can wear them now. Not an e...

Re: WRUW 6/10/18 thru 6/16/2018

A completed item for me! The 1955 Hamilton K-454 "Sputnik" with the original issue Kreisler bracelet. The dial has been refinished by International Dial. The silver scribes are printed and not scribed back in the silver as an original. The bracelet was new in a Kreisler case. The width is as issued ...
