Re: WRUW November 11th through the 17th 2018

For Tuesday the 61' Accumatic IV B, with an aftermarket Kreisler bracelet. I have been chasing links for the bracelet and they just came available. This really means another bracelet was available I could steal links from for my goofy wrists. I really like the bracelet, almost more than the perfect ...

WRUW November 11th through the 17th 2018

For me today the Funky looking 55' K-504 with the 661 movement and original issue Champion bracelet.

As you probably are aware there are two different dials for this model. Additionally this dial is common to the K-550.

The K-550 is at the bottom...

Re: Heritage Auctions... Anyone get any watches?

It is beautiful. As I get older I always want a bigger motor. Thi traded my Suburban in for the Yukon XL Denali. You get the 6.2 Litre motor vs. the 5.3. 100 more horsepower.

November 2018 Incoming

A very clean example of the1958 / K-302, Solid 10 KT, driven by the 661 movement.

Issued for 2 years, has a 1960 dedication on the back.

New for the library, will need to eventually get to Dan for his blog and a good cleaning :)

Re: WRUW November 4th thru 9th 2018?

Today I wore the 1955 Hamilton K-506 / 661 movement, Queens case with the original issue Kreisler bracelet in a "long!" The hunt to complete this watch has been enjoyable. It is a beefier watch than it's counterparts. Needs a good cleaning and tender loving care from Dan. It has taken a few differen...

My itchy fingers came VERY close to bidding on that watch; happy you got it, Pat.

Re: WRUW November 4th thru 9th 2018?

For Sunday, I had wore the new addition, 53' Tildon cld, 14 KT. with an aftermarket Flex-Let bracelet. My Holy Grail! Many Thanks to Dan for making me aware of it. It was one of the more expensive watches in Hamilton's line up for 1953. The same price as the 18 Kt Gordon and the 18 KT Hartman $225.0...

Re: Heritage Auctions... Anyone get any watches?

I called today to follow up on my invoice, this was my first purchase. The woman I spoke with, made the comment the Tildon was a true bargain at the price. I said looking at the lot it appeared to be soft, as a question to her. She responded that was her observation the jewelry market as a whole ove...

Re: 75" Auto Date Eagle

I find it interesting, originally it was called a "Condor" and then one can only assume the US Bicentennial may have influenced them to name it "The Eagle."
