I reached out to him a while back on personal message and email, and didn't hear back. Hope he's okay.
Re Norm: I did the same. Same result, same hope.

I think Susan, if I was going to call one "Ghost White" It would be this one with the dial from the R & D department. I had on earlier in the week. :)
Oops, yes Pat, that is the one I meant to call "The Ghost".

Today I finished rebuilding the Converta IV with the White dial. I probably will put a Hamilton leather band on it to give it some color.
It looks great as is.
I agree with Tom: Looks cool as is. I say leave it all white and dub it the "Ghost Converta".

Looks like a redial. The sub seconds are not sunken.

Bear in mind that my wife has tiny little chicken wrists, maybe 5.5" around. I think it's an appropriate size for anyone with a 6.5" wrist or larger.

Yes, you're right, it's really not working for her at all. Please have her forward it to me.

So-called "Celestial Zodiac" (real name still unknown)
Magpie, does this old (catalog? sales sheet?) image (sent to me by Bryan a few years ago) confirm the name?

Re: Dial Cleaning Methods

If the discoloration is under the lacquer, then nothing I have tried has ever worked. If raised (i.e. above the lacquer), then the methods suggested here (rodico and solution) might do the trick.
